Thinking of running for council?

IT was great to see a number of potential election candidates in the public gallery at tonight's council meeting. Several have almost become regulars and all are very welcome.

Next month a series of free information sessions will be held to let people around the state find out more about becoming an elected member.

The southern session will be held at the Hobart City Council, 16 Elizabeth St, Hobart, from 5.30-7pm on June 5. To register your attendance phone 6233 5966 or email reception@lgat.tas.gov.au
